Think about that.

It can create, go without sleep as I sing you to sleep,
nurse, comfort and
Just like a God,
Still have enough love to give you.

This is my body.
And the things that it can do.
It can withstand your objectifcation, your patriarchal battering
And still want to have your babies.

This is my body
It is capable of war
As much as it is capable of forgiveness.
See my spine.
See how it holds up for two.
See my arms,
Holding life for dear life.
My hips bear the weight of
Continuing the human race.

This is me, in all my femaleness
and yet, you have the gall to call me the weaker sex.
