Savage Featuring Trinette Jackson
There’s much poetry in the poison Ivy.
In Eden’s sweet-talking viper,
Camouflaged and still in plain sight.
In the obviousness of the Venus trap
And Medusa’s gaze.
In the venom we carry in our veins.
There is much poetry in doing things out of sheer spite.
Inspite, despite, respite.
There is vindication in vindictiveness.
In embracing one’s savagery.
